As copywriter for the Office of Sport in 2016, I was responsible for all marketing communications including electronic newsletters for 11 recreation centres and three Olympic sites, and the Office of Sport overall. Office of Sport included grants funding, regional programs and combat sports, and my job was to tailor communications for their respective audiences including a monthly news EDM (above) and latest news (left) regarding the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
In March 2014, I edited a 2,000-word report by Prof Scott Koslow of Macquarie University, and the report (left) is the result. This was a happy collaboration for everyone involved and my task was to package words, data and statistics into a flowing, compelling document that clearly stated how over-the-counter medicines could save the Australian economy billions of dollars.
